Indian River Marina is situated about 1/4 mile up the Indian River from
Clinton Harbor where three rivers — the Hammonasset, Indian and Hammock
— converge on their way to Long Island Sound. The marina is a lovely
tidal wetland setting ideal for shallow-draft vessels and allowing
convenient access for sailing and fishing on the Sound.

Long River Adventures offers kayak and canoe rentals on the mighty
Farmicut River located in Windsor Connecticut. This clean, safe river
offers many opportunities to swim and fish. You can choose from two 5
mile trips or one 10 miler. Come see us in May for some great shad
fishing. In addition to the Farmicut, we also offer rentals on the lower
section of the Farmington River. This section flows north from
Farmington to Simsbury, sandy bottoms, golf ball collection and turtle
catching are some of the favorite extracurricular activities that our
guests have partaken in on the stretch. We provide you with the newest
cleanest equipment in the area. Remember, our lifejackets don't stink!

Main Stream Canoes and Kayaks is located on the Farmington River. We
have white water, flat water and lake rentals.
Our services include trip guides, lessons, shuttle service, and retail.
We service both the Farmington and Connecticut rivers as well as several
lakes and reservoirs in the area. We are building a new facility along
the banks of the Farmington River and plan to open it spring 2002.

offer several free paddling day events through-out the year. We offer
shuttle service to the Housatonic, Candlewood Lake and Squantz Pond. We
are a full service Kayak outfiitter, with over 100 kayaks in stock to
choose from. We are all paddlers and would be glad to help you! Our
hours are M-Friday 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-4pm, Sunday 10am-2pm, closed
Wednesday.
